Meadowbank History

Your patience, understanding and kindness during this difficult time was very much appreciated.

Meadowbank Veterinary Centre joined the Village Vet family in 2008. It has its own dedicated team of nurses and receptionist staff, and benefits from James Bigglestone as the resident vet. It is situated on the Mold road, and is set in a wonderful plot with ample parking and its own duck pond.

Meadowbank has state of the art digital x-ray equipment and its own surgical facilities. There are separate dog and cat kennels and there is an in-house laboratory for same-day processing of blood and other samples.

Meadowbank Veterinary Centre is open 5 days a week, with routine consultations throughout the day. When things go wrong outside of normal working hours, emergency cover is based at the Buckley branch of Village Vets. This cover is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. On weekends any inpatients are transferred to the hospital site of Village Vets at Buckley for closer monitoring where there is 24 hour on site nursing.

Our ethos at Meadowbank echoes that of Village Vets, we are a friendly practice that sets its own high standards. We strive to offer a professional but approachable service and the health and welfare of our patients is paramount.
